Earlier today, Aug 3, on I-26, a car bumped William Eric Gillis – known by friends as ” Whitey” off the road. He has suffered numerous injuries, almost too long to list here. Early reports stated he was so serious he might not make it, but God protected him from death. We at BikerDownWNC have received many reports of concern from friends. Pastor Mike (BullDog) has already seen the family. I hope to visit on Thursday, but please keep Whitey in your prayers, as well as his family. I know many churches have already put him on their prayer list. God is powerful and listens to prayers, He is also the great healer. Let’s pray Whitey goes home to his family who loves him soon. He is located at Mission Hospital.

Submitted by a friend of the family…WOW – God answers prayers! Eric (Whitey) regained conscience yesterday. He was responsive enough to try to tell them where he was hurting. They then took him into a 5 or 6 hour surgery. He had multiple broken bones on one side – arm, ribs, hip, leg. He was again responsive after surgery. At this point he is stable! He is a miracle! Thanks for your prayers. Let’s keep them coming………….he has a long road ahead.
