This in from our brothers in Christ serving Bikers Down with Bikers for Christ.
Please be in prayer for two down bikers in critical condition. Ronald Medlin – at UNC. Internal injuries and broken bones. Is currently unresponsive. No further info available at this time. Billy Hall – at Duke. Serious spinal injuries. Trach and feeding tube being placed today. Possibly relocating to Shepard Center in Atlanta for more extensive treatment. I’m going to check on Billy Hall today. His situation looked pretty dire a few days ago. They were talking to his wife about moving him to Shepard Center in Atlanta. I don’t have specifics but it may be he is paralyzed either fully or partially. Will let you know when I have more info. I got to see Ron Medlin on Saturday. He is still in ICU at UNC-CH. They had to remove his spleen and place a rod in his lower back but the praise is no neurological or spinal injuries, no broken limbs and very minor road rash. His recovery will be a long road but thankfully there is no head trauma. They are keeping him sedated for the most part but all signs are very encouraging. Pray for his wife Rhonda as she has specifically requested prayer for him as well as herself to turn back to God. Will let you know more when I know more. Thanks for all you do with Biker Down. We appreciate it.
Pray for healing and recovery.
Thanks,
Rhett

Prayer Warriors,
Thanks to prayer and the healing power of our Lord the nurses had Ron up and walking yesterday. I wasn’t able to speak with him as he was wiped out from the exercise but the nurse said he would probably be moved to the step down unit (not quite ICU but not out in a regular room) whenever a bed becomes available. I was told he is speaking now and has some difficulty due to the trach but he is aware of what’s going on around him and is able to respond accordingly.
Please continue to pray for Ron and his wife Rhonda.
In Christ,
Rhett Macomson
