Prayers up for a group of riders who had a serious accident on the afternoon of the 16th of July. We have received several reports from friends and members of BikerDown. Pastor Mike Wilson has been to the hospital and the news there is very sad. Several members of Southern Patriots have crashed where Asheville Hwy 25 intersects with I26. Cara Westlake, 41, of Flat Rock is in serious condition, and Melinda (Moe) Schlicher, 41, of Lake Toxaway is in fair condition. Please be sensitive to family members who are still on their way from far away locations. In the mean time, pray for these and their families. Pray God’s will be done in the lives of these people and that family members who are quickly traveling here arrive safely.

Our sincerest condolences go out to the family of Cara Westlake who has gone on to her Father after sustaining the injuries to this accident. I was honored to meet her best friend Melinda who is recovering nicely with a broken collar bone, ribs and collapsed lung. She misses her friend. Pray for all those involved in this accident and especially for Melinda and Cara’s family and friends. Ask God for His love and grace to be poured out abundantly over all these.
