Prayer Warriors,
Please continue to lift up Pastor Mark. He was transferred last week from Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Pastor Mark was hit by a young woman who didn’t see him. He suffered severe injuries to his lower right leg and as of Sunday when I visited it was unknown whether or not he’s going to be able to keep the lower leg and right foot. He was scheduled for extensive reconstructive surgery yesterday which was going to keep him in ICU with no visitors for 3-5 days. I don’t have an update as of this morning on how the surgery went.
Pastor Mark heads a church in Siler City and is very involved with our active and retired military in a program called MissionM25 (http://www.missionm25.org/).
When we met he was very upbeat and knows that God is in control with whatever the outcome of his situation is.
I plan to go visit next week after he gets moved out of ICU. Will send an update then.
Keep praying for Pastor Mark and all other down bikers.

In Christ,

Prayer Warriors,
Tommy York was able to speak with Pastor Mark’s wife this afternoon and got the following update on his condition. He had surgery last week and as of today he has blood flow to the lower right leg and foot. They were hoping to try and get him out of the bed and into a wheel chair this afternoon. Unfortunately, he has developed an intestinal infection and will be in isolation for the next 14 days and the family has requested no visitors during this time. Tommy was told they have a very strong support network around them but asked that we continue to lift up Pastor Mark for complete and speedy recovery. He is now in room 5207 on Five West Tower at UNC-Chapel Hill. His phone # is 919.966.1264.
