From our Minister who just visited today – Thanks Pam
Robert (Bob) and Frances Maddox are from Greenville, SC and were up here for a few days. They decided to leave a day early to avoid the rain. They took a curve to fast and hit a guard rail in Transylvania Co. He’s had 3 surgeries and will need more, I prayed with him and he couldn’t talk but seemed aware and grateful for the prayers. I visited with her and she was telling me about the accident and their injuries. She looked very good and had friends there from home. She was grateful for the prayer I said with her as well. Both still in ICU. Jay had just come out of surgery and was waking up from his trac. He had family with him and I let them know we were still praying, and they said it was working! Both are in Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

I have met both of these nice people and prayed with them and their daughter and son-in-law. They have been riding together since the mid 80’s and never had a problem till they got into a sharp curve on their Honda Goldwing Trike. They hit a guard rail and they both ended up in the hospital. Bob had some surgery today and seemed to be doing well when I saw him last night. Frances has been moved out of ICU and may have had surgery today as well. She seemed in good spirits and very tough. Pray they both recover quickly and can get back home to Greenville, SC.
These people are both doing very well. Each have had surgery and will continue to have more to correct injuries they’ve endured. Bob is still in ICU and Francis is now in the trauma care wing of Mission. Lift Up both of these bikers as they continue to heal. Praise God they are doing better.
I am Frances, wife of Bob.Thank you so much for the visits, gifts and especially for the prayers. It really means a lot to know there are people like you that really care. Your visits were most welcome. I am now at my daughters and am doing very well. I am getting stronger every day. Bob however, is not the same. He has been moved to St. Joseph’s into the Specialty Unit. He has developed many complications. Please feel free to visit and please pray for him. Thank you many times over. God Bless all of you. Frances
