Our thoughts and prayers go out to this grieving family. May they feel God’s presence during this time of loss.

There will be a memorial service for DJ on the 26th at 2:00 pm at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Waynesville, NC. On April 3rd there will be a memorial ride to the Dragons Tail, Deal’s Gap. Bikes will leave from the old Walmart in Clyde at 2 pm. T-shirts will be for sale and donations will be accepted to raise funds for his survivors. Please attend both events and continue to pray that this tragedy serves a higher purpose in the lives of those that remain.

When I found out I was in denial until about 3 other people told me. He is deff the strong man that God needs by his-side. Samantha and their little girl as well as DJs family will be in my prayers. I have known Dj for years and he was such a strong, independent, outgoing, loving and a caring man!! DJ you will sincerely be missed by your family and all of your friends!! We love you and may you rest in peace!!

I rode with DJ and he was always the leader of our Club. He always had a way of letting us know where to ride without actually saying “this is where we are going”. He will NEVER! be forgotten. As he will ride with me every time i get on my bike, as he is forever a part of my family. I love you bro!!!!

D.J. will be missed by any and all who knew him. He was a really good guy who made everyone around him smile. My fiancée and I will be attending the memorial ride on a Honda CBR1000. We’ll do many wheelies in D.J.’s honor!!!
