Hello my name is Julie Buckner, my brother in law was hit by a pick up truck in Swannanoa, this happened over a week ago, he suffered a left lower broken leg, broken ribs and a broken collar bone on the left side. The hospital had him in a coma so he could breath with out laboring, he is awake now and doing good. They had him up in a wheel chair today. They say he may have to go to CarePartners after the hospital, then home. He is at Mission Hospital room A505 right now. He is a strong person he as been a firefighter for Asheville many years and retired from there. I got your information from one of the LE’s here at United Way in Asheville, she gave me your card.
I think he would like a visit. I am hoping he will ride again.
Thank you for your work helping bikers, and God Bless.
Sincerely,
Julie Buckner
No name for the Biker yet, but I have written her for more information. If anyone can get up there before he leaves, I’m sure he would like to know we were there for him as soon as we found out.

Monty,
This a update on Glenn Holbert, they have moved him to CarePartners today, that is all the information I have. I was under the weather this past weekend, I will talk to my sister about putting his information on the Blog. And I will let you know where he is.
Thank you to you and all your prayer warriors for your prayers for my brother-in-law.
Julie
Glenn has been visited by several supporters of BDWNC. I have not met the man, but I hear he is a great guy to talk to. He is out of Mission has been moved to CarePartner’s Rehab. He still needs visits and prayer for a speedy recovery. Praise God for this man’s life and the mercies God has bestowed on him.
