Daniel & wife Rita Askew who are in their late 20’s were visiting on the Parkway driving their Suzuki when they t-boned an SUV that pulled in front of them. They were visiting from Mobile, AL. Rita may be out of the hospital by tomorrow, but is very concerned, as we all are, for her husband Daniel. Daniel is in ICU, with bleeding in brain, many broken bones from the collision. His mother Anita is here from Florida with another son and daughter. Anita’s sister and husband will be here tomorrow, who is also their pastor from their Baptist church. We ask for prayers for this couple as they face the days ahead. Ask for God’s mercy and healing grace on Daniel. See Comments

I’ve visited Daniel twice since his accident and though his initial responses when not sedated were promising he’s gone backwards some. He has an outstanding support group of family and they appreciate our visits. Please continue to pray of Daniel to recover quickly and completely from his injuries. God loves him and we pray His will is to knit him back to full health as he was before the accident. God can do that and more.
Daniel is responding and everyone seems to be happy with his progress and current condition at this stage. I haven’t been able to talk to him cause he always seems to be drugged out or sleeping, but he is out of ICU in rm A521. His wife Rita is doing well and he has good support from friends and family. Pray he can go home soon and rehab back near his home where it won’t be so hard on this family to support him.
