Jacob Phillips crashed in Robbinsville, NC on July 22nd, when he flew 30ft off Snowbird Bridge and hit a big rock with his head. He is a local resident of Robbinsville and was not wearing a helmet. He nearly drowned, saved by a lady who happened to see the accident and went to his aid. He was blue when she got to him. He is suspected to have serious brain injury, spinal/back injury and is paralyzed below his shoulders. He can’t cough and is being assisted to breathe. He’s been in and out of ICU for weeks with lung problems. His mother is strong and has faith that God will continue to make miracles for her 27 year old son. Let’s pray the same.

Jacob is out of the hospital now and going to rehab. He is a miracle. Though he is on a respirator and having suffered a great deal of spinal injury, his mental capacity is nearly fully recovered. His road is long, but I’ve never quite met a young man with such a smile and peaceful attitude. I’m sure Jake will be a blessing to those who work with him during his rehab and He will be a blessing to all those who come into his life. His belief in God is strong and he has great family support. May the grace of God and His continued miraculous healing pour over Jake and his mom.
