Earlier in a long post on this BLOG a mention about a rider named Steve Cooper was made. We had very little information at the time, but now we have more. Steve is a motorcycle hobbyist who rebuilds and restores vintage motorcycles. He was riding one when he had his accident. I visited with him and his family tonight. He’s at Mission in ICU right beside Mike Benefield. I met his son, brother, mother and wife. He has lots of support. This was a single victim accident and though the family has theories about what might have happened, all we really know is he ran off the road and sustained many injuries to his ribs, neck and head. Tests are still being performed and we pray that God will be there to provide good reports and healing. Pray up and I will try to keep updated with his progress. See Comments

Visiting with the large supporting family tonight, everyone was pleased with the healing and progress of Steve. He has been traked and is still unconscious, but his tests have been good and he has responded when asked for 2 thumbs up, he gave 2 thumbs up. Praise God for all he has done. Keep praying for Steve and his family as they struggle through this process. Have faith, God is in full control.
I met Steve and had chance to pray with him and his wife. Steve is still very groggy and sedated in ICU at Mission, but he is responding and able to move everything. Pray for a continued recovery and movement to a regular bed out of ICU. I look forward to meeting Steve when he is clearly thinking and can tell us of his bike hobby and work.
Steve is still traked but really doing much better. Still unable to talk he communicates well with his eyes and head movement. I can’t wait to talk to him as he recovers. Pray for a full recovery and peace over his family and all those who care for him.
Tonight Mission was preparing Steve to go to Shepards in Atlanta. We pray for a safe trip. Pray for Steve’s wife and family as they endure this transition. His wife is strong, but tired and appreciates our support and prayers. Keep praying warriors.
