Accident between Sylva and Asheville, NC. Wife broke an ankle, but husband is very serious. The pastor is Thomas Brooks, but I do not know the biker’s name. See Comment section for updates.

He is in Asheville at Mission Hospital. He is in very bad condition if you have a Pastor in that area please send them out there if you would He is in ICU. Call me if you need to. 580-399-5690

It is Eugene Smith he is in ICU and in a induced coma. They were riding there on vacation and him and his wife went down. She is in Sylva, NC I think. It is about 47 miles south west of Asheville. They are old bikers in their 60’s. I am their chaplin. Thank you so much my Brother Pastor Tom

I visited Eugene last night, but he was too sedated to know it. He’s alive and that’s all I know. Nurse would not reveal any details. He had several tubes in him and he was being monitored by about a dozen machines. Pray for him as God knows what is going on. Pray his wife can join him soon in Asheville as she is still in Sylva. More to come as we continue to visit.
I have no update for Eugene. In fact I can’t even find him. I assume that he or his family have requested for his attendance at Mission to be confidential and we will respect that. Prayers up.
