During the fellowship rides in the surrounding area, some accidents were noted. See Comments for Updates. More than 5 bikers laid down their bikes in separate incidents, but we want to Lift Up two that were hurt serious enough to note here. Clay Young, from Richmond, KY broke his wrist and received several staples to mend up a deep gash in his arm. He was at the event later and told us about his gratefulness that it was not worse. He was riding a Suzuki SVF 650. Ken Rigdon is still in Mission Hospital, Asheville, after sustaining a neck injury in his accident. He’s from Palatka, FL. The doctors performed surgery on the 30th to repair 2 vertebrae in his neck. We hope we can visit him soon, if he doesn’t go home. Please be in prayer for all those who ride this Memorial weekend and Lift Up these in prayer for quick healing and thank God for His protection and mercy.

6/3/10 I’ve visited with Ken and his lovely threesome of ladies (his wife, and two daughters) a couple times since his accident. He has a great support team and he is doing very well. I don’t think I’ll see him again around here but, I’m sure I’ll see him again. We pray the entire family have a safe trip home and a full recovery.
6/23/10 I spoke with a nice lady today from Peniel Church in Palatka Fl, where Ken Rigdon belongs to the Faith Riders. Ken is doing well although he still has some issues recovering from the neck injury. Pray up for Ken that he will fully recover and be riding again soon with the wind in his face. I enjoyed visiting with Ken and we hope to see him again. Maybe next year at R2R. Praise God, He is always good.
