They had to move his surgery to this morning (4/25) due to swelling from blood clot on his spine. We don’t know how much mobility he will regain yet. He should be unconcious for another day or so. Thanks for everything. Doug

Vince & I met Willie’s daughter and we gave her a card and brochure and let her know we were praying and if she needed any assistance at all to please let me know. She was holding a baby and was getting ready to go down the hall with some other family so it was short and sweet but good. When I asked about his surgery she said he did good and was still in a coma but had started moving around. KEEP PRAYING!

4/27/10 – I visited with Willie, his wife, Lori and a whole group of caring members of his family. Willie looked rough. He’s in a good deal of pain and he was heavily sedated. He won’t remember we prayed over him, but God is remembering him. Willie is doing well, medically. He’ll pull through all this, but the price of healing with pain will be a long period of time he will have to endure. Please pray for Willie. Pray for mercy and peace to cover him in this time of healing. We all hope to see him well again soon. Monty.

I visited with Willie and Lori last night. He is now in room 537, but won’t be there long. He is healing quickly – Praise God. They will move him this week, out to another care facility near by. He welcomes visitors and is grateful for our prayers. Continue to do that for us all. SFFS Monty

Got to visit with Willy before lunch time today. He was alone and watching tv. Said he wasnt feelin good and didnt know when he could go home. I tried to be some sunshine for him and got to pray with him. He is in room A524, in isolation, which means you need to put on gloves and gown to go in, the cart with supplies is right at his door. Mission had a wellness program going on in the lobby, their own dancing with the stars, keep your body moving…everyone was smiling and interested so maybe some of that good feeling gets passed on to the patients!
