Just got a call from my kid sister. Her brother-in-law, David Whitfield, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in Florida. He ran off the road and centered a telephone pole. Presently he is in intensive care with severe head injuries but is breathing on his own. He has no family in Florida so, especially, needs our prayers. David is in his 50’s and from WNC. Sent from Marie McMahan. Hopefully more info is coming.

Hi, I’m the “kid sister” Debbie. Nothing has changed in David’s condition. He is still in a coma with massive head injuries. They inserted a bolt into his brain Thursday to monitor the pressure. He also has a broken pelvis and arm. PLEASE continue to pray!! When the swelling in the brain goes down, he will face surgery for the multiple fractures in his face. Thanks
