Rusty and Wilma Simpson from Weston Virginia were riding on the Parkway with their Harley, two-up. He came around a sharp curve to meet a stopped car and instead of veering off the road or into on-coming traffic, and definitely not wanting to hit the back of the car, he locked up his brakes, lost control, and laid the bike down. He had minor injuries, but Wilma suffered a broken foot (toes), rib and general bruises and scrapes. They both were taken to Asheville’s Mission Hospital in NC. She was admitted to stay a night. Their son is coming this evening to take them home, but they were glad to see us. Their church support couldn’t be here except by phone and they enjoyed having someone to visit them. Pray that they both come to know that God had a plan in all this and He is the great and mighty healer. I’m sure they will be back. They sure thought we were a friendly place.
