Praise and Concern. Everyone we knew of that was in Mission last week is now out. Todd True, Albert Franklin, Raul Miller, Tillman Hill, and Jo Jo Whitaker have all either gone home or on to rehab and therapy – Praise God. I’m sure a few have a ways to go before they are 100%, but at least they are not in ICU. We do however, have a new one that needs our prayers. 22 year old Kelly Dennie was riding his Suzuki, 600 GSXR when a service vehicle pulled out in front of him and Kelly wasn’t able to stop. I’ve known many accident victims, but Kelly is really banged up. His list of injuries are too many to report. He will survive them all, but they are going to leave a mark. Pray for Kelly – he has good family support and his injuries can all be overcome, but he has many, God is the great healer. Kelly is in ICU at Mission and will need surgery to fix a few things before he gets better. Ask God for a speedy recovery and put Kelly on his feet again.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Kelly several times and though he was banged up pretty good, there is a lot to be said for being young and having caring people around who love him and pray up. Kelly is going to take a while to heal, but he is doing well. He’s been through two major surgeries on his pelvis, but they say he’s going to be fine. Praise God for this young man’s life. Pray that he lives his life for Christ who made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us.
