Information came in about two bikers, Janis and Joseph Bailey from Marion, who were riding on Hwy 9 in Black Mountain Monday the 8th about 8 pm. From what we have understanding, Joseph didn’t negotiate a curve, hit a guard rail and both are in serious condition at Mission Hospital. God knows the details and you pray warriors know God. Lift up this couple who each have serious injuries and pray that God will lay his protective hand on them and all those who care for them. Pray for their families and loved ones who are traveling to see and watch over them. Pray for comfort and understanding, mercy and grace that God be glorified in these lives some way.

It was my pleasure to see both of these people tonight. They are both doing well for as beat up as they are. Good strong Christian faith and family all around. Prayers are up and out for both of these fine folks. I hope they get to go home as soon as possible. God is Good All the Time and He gets the glory for these people and their fine family that have come together for them.
I’ve recently visited this couple at Mission. What a blessing. Joseph may be going home soon, but it looks as though Janis will have more surgery and a long recovery and rehab. They were both together and felt blessed to be alive. Continue to pray for these strong Christian people and specifically that Janis will recover quickly.
I received a phone call requesting assistance for Janis and Joseph Bailey in Marion. It came from some concerned family members. Janis is likely in rehab or will soon be there as her surgery went well. The request is to build them a ramp for a wheel chair at their home. She won’t be able to walk on that hip for about 6 months. I don’t think we have anyone in our group that can do that, but I know CMA does a lot of that and may want to do it, if there are any willing in that area. Anyway, Joseph is home now and his number is 828-527-2429. We need to pray for them and see if someone can step up to help. If you know anyone in that area I can call to help, please, let me know and I’ll handle it. SFFS Monty
