Thinking Back

This week I’ve thought a lot about where I was this time last year. Last year I couldn’t talk, I could not move my right arm. I couldn’t move my legs a lot or my left arm. I had a trach and was on a ventilator. Now I can talk; I can move my arms and legs; I don’t have a trach or a ventilator! It is good to know where God has brought us from.

I will share with you something I read this week: There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. -Albert Einstein

Of course I have wondered “why.” Why do bad things happen to good people? That is what the devil wants me to ask. You have to be more than a good person to be a Christian; you have to be forgiven. I have put my trust in God and the fact that He has a divine plan for me even though I don’t know it yet. As a Christian we will encounter affliction- He said we would, but He also said with Him (God) we are more than conquerers.
