December’s Recipe: An easy way to prepare the festive holiday ham.


1 ham, pre-cooked, spiral cut (bone in or boneless; I used Smithfield)
3 ½ cups brown sugar (OR use included glaze packet & 1 ½ cups brown sugar)
½ cup  honey
1 – 20 oz. can pineapple tidbits, do not drain
maraschino cherries (optional)


In large crock pot, cover the bottom with 2 cups (or 1 ½ cups) brown sugar. Place ham on top of brown sugar, open the slices slightly with your hands. Pour honey over ham evenly. Add pineapple (& the juice) around the sides and on top of the ham. Top with glaze packet OR remaining brown sugar. Add cherries, if desired. Cover and cook on low for 4 ½ – 6 hours. [adapted from]

November’s Recipe: What better combo than chocolate and PB&J?


1 – 16 oz. pkg. peanut butter sandwich cookies, divided
4 TBSP Butter, melted
4 oz. cream cheese, room temp
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
8 oz. container cool whip, divided
1 – 3.9 oz. pkg instant chocolate pudding mix
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Crush 24 of the cookies. In bowl, mix melted butter and crushed cookies until moistened. Pree mixture into ungreased 8×8 square baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow crust to cool. Mix pudding and milk in bowl. In another bowl beat cream cheese, powdered sugar and peanut butter together. Fold in 1 cup cool whip into cream cheese mixture. Spread pudding mixture over crust. Spread cream cheese mixture over pudding. Top bars with remaining cool whip. Add chips on top and remaining PB cookies, crushed.

October’s Recipe: A new twist on an old fav!


2 pks. Oreo cookies, crushed
6 tablespoons butter, melted
5 cups miniature marshmallows


Melt butter and marshmallows together over medium-low heat. Remove from heat. Stir inn oreos until combined. Pour in a pre-buttered 13x9x2 inch pan. Cool, cut & enjoy!
